EUROFRAME Conference 2020: Call for Papers

The 17th EUROFRAME Conference on Economic Policy Issues in the European Union will be held on 5 June 2020 in London (United Kingdom).

The conference will deal with "Climate change: economic implications, tools and challenges for policy-makers in Europe".Submissions deadline: 17 February 2020.

Euro Growth Indicator December 2019

Euro Growth Indicator suggest stable but modest growth for the current and next quarters in the euro area

The December Euro Growth Indicator suggests that euro area GDP will continue to grow at a moderate rate of 0.2 per cent in the final quarter of 2019. The first tentative estimate for the first quarter points to only a slight acceleration to 0.3 per cent.

Euro Growth Indicator November 2019

Euro area GDP expected to continue to grow by 0.2 per cent only in Q4 2019

The November Euro Growth Indicator confirms that euro area GDP will remain sluggish until the end of this year. GDP is forecast to increase by only 0.2 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2019, matching the rate published for the third quarter in the EUROSTAT flash estimate.

Euro Growth Indicator October 2019

Weakness in industry weighs on growth in the euro area

Euro area growth will remain sluggish until the end of this year dragged down by renewed weakness in the industrial sector, according to the October Euro Growth Indicator. GDP is forecast to increase by only 0.2 per cent both in the third and the fourth quarter of 2019.
